I love challenging myself to recreating dishes that I love to eat at restaurants because it's a great way to test my cooking skills, but also saves my family money when I can make the same meals at home, but even better.
Lets jump right into the basics of cooking rice:
It's always a 2 cups water to 1 cup of rice ratio.
Always season your water with salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of butter.
Bring water to a boil, add rice, then when surface bubbles appear on the top of the rice (about 10 minutes) reduce heat to medium low and cover with a lid cooking for an additional 35 minutes.
